First Monday

The start of the week starts today, but not today because it’s the first of those days. I woke and threw a dart and chose to stay than leave so here I write.

Right now the sun shines brightly above. I sit alone, listening to their drone. For here, at the heart of all things living, I’ve found a star I think’s worth meeting.

Food on the table I want to devour, but peace within these four corners, roofed by fluffy white condensation with the hopes of a goner, keeps me in hunger.  Do I look odd sitting by the pond, with nothing at hand but paper, pen and mind?

What I promised to not do, I’m doing with multiplied vigor. Nothing’s to be gained for sure, but there’s nothing to lose either. So I’m living my life taking chances, extinguishing regrets, until the rays of the  sun burn my skin and lead me back home.
